My daughter Zee is studying for final exams and is very busy. So, without her permission, I decided to post for her (hoping for forgiveness from Zee).
These photos are of Zee's pet wolf Nome or Nomies as she likes to call him.
Disclaimer: Though I have the ability to post on her xanga, I do not read her private messages out of respect for my daughter.
Nome is a 13 year old captive timber wolf or grey wolf.
He was found roaming the streets of Pocatello, Idaho and was captured; destined to be destroyed.
Through a wonderful miracles, he became part of our family . . . our pack.
He and Zee would spend hours together in the back yard either playing or on the porch swing.
In his prime, Nome weighed about 125 pounds or 57 kilograms. Now he barely weighs 100 pounds or 45 kilograms.
He is still, at this advanced age, very active and alert especially when he plays with our 10 pound / 4.5 kg shih-tzu, Tai-Bear.
Since wolves do not normally live past ten years of age in captivity, we are truly blessed by this miracle.
Blessings to all of you. ~ Zee's dad P.S. Keep your studies going, babydoll. I believe in you. Edit (by Zee): hehehe, it's fun to come to your own xanga and see something new thanks daddy my baby Nomes... i miss that guy. my jealous and faithful animal boyfriend. |
