hide and seek

[spin me around again
and rub my eyes
this can't be happening]

old journals, mostly written to the last pages and through the margins. i've dusted them off and opened their pages.

[this page i turn to the most 5.23.05]

i pick them up and begin again where i left off.  it was a lifetime ago. but it was my lifetime just the same. the scribble is red this time. red is for love. red is for blood. red is for passion and anger, pride and heat.

i catch true glimpses of myself between the lines.  truths i wish i could erase.

[mmm, what'd ya say
it's all for the best
well of course it is]

the weather and my life seem to take similar course.

Anji invited me to spend a week with her and her husband in France.  Which week?  Well, let's just say I'd be watching the guys ride into Paris VIP style.  Man... I really want to go...

Achilles Heal

God bless Barbaro, Michael Matz, and Edgar Prado.  Keep our fingers crossed that the big bay will be as strong in recovery as he is an a mile & a 1/2.
