Lorna came back from KL and bought a shirt for me. My dad got his new car too and sold off his old car for the new one. Wai Wai's family just came back from Australia and bought me a hat and some chocolate and butter shortbread.

Another Modem Struck By Lightning

It was so unlucky. It was raining lightly outside but a lightning hit and followed by a loud thunder and a shrieking sound of something snapping from the modem. Next thing that happened, a blackout. The worst part of it is when I restarted my PC, everything seems okay except for the modem. It was a very unexpected lightning. *Sigh*

I bought a new modem right after I realised the old one is spoiled. I hunt for a Linksys but every shop in Saberkas does not have it. So I opt for Belkin and I know there are many weird reviews on it but I like the part about the lifetime warranty and of course getting strike by lightning is also covered by it.

Then, I bought a new keyboard as well. So far I'm not used to the keys yet.

Total spent: RM 509

Last Day

Today is the last day of the Olympics as well as the last day of the Kuching Festival. Besides that, it is also the last day of SAMS' exhibition at tHe Spring. All's well that ends well.

Back From Vacation

Before I left, I brought Ham Ham to the vet. After checking on him, the vet thinks that Ham Ham got pneumonia. He asked if I want a post-mortem but I declined. I don't want to see him all cut up. I decided to leave it at that and bury Ham Ham with Girl Girl. I was really sad to let him go. I cried during my vacation as well.

I spotted 3 film stars when I was in HK. I don't know their names but they definitely are 100% real. No one seems to make a fuss about them being in public (except myself).

My 1 week trip was rather short. We spent 1 day in Macau and the rest of the vacation in HK. We spent a night and two days in Disneyland. It was fun and the hotel room is just splendid (for a very 'splendid' price too). I spent quite a lot at Disneyland but I really enjoyed myself there.

The weather is horrifyingly hot and I walked a lot as well. Ended up showering 3 times a day. Regrettedly, I didnt manage to explore the whole of Disneyland nor did I do much sightseeing besides Disneyland itself. We didn't even go to Ocean Park. We just go all around to shop (especially Causeway Bay for me). My brother and Wai Wai spent their sweet time in Mongkok.

Ate a lot of food there. I gained weight as well. It was hard to decline to have tea/breakfast/lunch/dinner with my relatives. They keep feeding me too and it would be impolite to decline. Sigh, time to diet but food was great. Hehe.

I saw lots of Huskies and it makes me want to own a Husky myself. THEY ARE JUST SO CUTE.

In Macau, we went to two casino. Played the slot machines at Whynn. It was fun but the losing money part isn't. It's an experience however (and who goes to the casino to win in the first place).

Nothing really much to describe about my trip except that I shop alot every single day and my feet are sore. Will put up pictures as well later.

I really miss my baby Ham Ham...

Heartbroken

I will be going on a trip today for one week to Macau and Hong Kong (will be back on Sunday).

Ham Ham died earlier. My brother woke me up about 3.30 a.m. and told me Ham Ham died when he checked on the hamsters. It was a sight that left me crying. He was lying on his back. The weird thing was that there is blood. His nose is swelling and there's blood from his nose and his mouth and also on his front paws.

I'm thinking to bring him to the vet later to verify what happened. I can't let him be like this.

Ham Ham is 1 year and 7 months old.

It has been 1 year, 6 months and 2 days since I have adopted Ham Ham.

He was a father and a good one too. I'll never forget his achievements as a hamster and his life. He's never aggressive too.

His favourite food is chicken and shrimps. Cheese & cheesecake, anchovies, french fries, ice cream and most human food are his favourite too but these food are only fed to him once in a blue moon.

Ham Ham left the world today on 12th July 2008 early in the morning.

He is definitely my favourite among all and to me, he's one of the best thing that happened to me when he came into my life. Nothing can come close to take his place in my heart. I'm proud of him especially in things he do which simply cheers me up. That was his charm. The way he climbed on my hand, the little things he did like getting attention from me by biting his cage and also hanging in there and living a little longer past a hamster's average life span. I wish I could change that and hope he lives longer. He definitely left me heartbroken and in tears and the more I think about the joys he have brought me for the past 1 and half year, the more I cry.

I hope that the time he spent being in my care I managed to make his life happy.

Since Its The Holidays

The days until class starts again seems to be getting shorter and shorter. I got lots of animes to catch up with during the holidays and I hope I can make it before I am really busy with school stuffs again. Then there are stuffs to do for the anime convention.

My exam results will be out in 11 days (18th July) and hopefully there are no delays in publishing it. I'm crossing my fingers and praying. Passing my subjects is just enough for me. I don't want to repeat the dreaded subject yet again.

Here are pictures at Manhattan Fish Market taken on 2nd May (First visit for the month). My friend (Calvin) brought me here to celebrate my birthday and treated to dinner.

Restless

I'm restless these few days. I feel like doing something but I don't want to do anything at the same time. I think this is due to me drinking too much soft drinks these days. It just gets me pumped up. I wonder what they add into those drinks. Since I drank a lot of Coke, I bet it's the caffeine taking effect on me. It can't be the sugar content because my body is used to large amount of sugar intake (explains my sweet tooth) and there is no such thing as a 'sugar rush' in my dictionary.

My dad got my road tax sticker earlier. I can finally drive my car again. I don't dare to drive it out since it expired because the traffic police seems to be active lately.

Here are some photos taken at Rakutei back in April. It was the first time I sat outside. The others are about the dog that was stranded at my house not too long ago.
