As the boy approached the house he wondered who would answer. Walking up the patio stairs to the door he approached cautiously and rang the doorbell. He had no idea where he was and needed directions back to his home. It wasn't really his home, it was his foreign exchange home. The door open to reveal a man of pasty skin and blond hair. The man had a something in his hand, he had never seen a gun so he was unsure if it even was. One thing was for sure, he was scared. The man shot him in the chest 3 times. No questions were asked, he simply shot the teen. In the court dates to follow he stated that it was in self-defense, the teen had entered his home without permission. He stated he had every right to defend his home. Manifest destiny was his voice, his right, his so-called "God Given" right. Later on in the trial evidence, which had been suppressed previously, was found, including his affiliation with the Ku Klux Klan. The courts found him guilty in the end...

Where a man deems the right to shoot all who are different. Everyone who isn't like him. Where is the justification in killing another person who doesn't have your skin color? I guess we will always find people thru the times that will always bring shame to the human race. whether it's projected thru physical violence, or discrimination. It doesn't matter how big or insignificant the action is, its the state of mind. It's the idea that one considers them self better than the rest because of skin color. You can be black, white, brown, yellow, or any shade. You are still a creation of God, and he holds no preference to skin color. I can't wait till the day comes where "All the colors will bleed into one...you know I believe it". Until that day comes, I must endure, and persevere to be above not only the influence, but all that is unjust and unholy.
