heyyyy!!! hows everyone doin?? ok...so ive been havin a couple of

really good weeks up here in arkansas!! last week was cool...my

room mate left on thursday to go home for the weekend but i

still had fun! ended up goin out with some fijis on thursday

and taught a few of them how to 2-step!! =)  then i went home

friday and went out to eat with my family and my god-family

then went to the union/jenks game and we DOMiNATED

again!! wow---ive gotta stay true to my alma mater!! =) then

saturday i felt like my little brothers mom but it was so fun. i

got to go with him to get his tux then put his tie on for him and

stuff..i almost cried.  then i went to Asbury to take pictures of

him...i cant believe he's growing up so fast!! =(

sooo........then i went out to eat and to talk to laura. then i had

the greatest night of my life----i got to basically party with the

cast of extreme makeover home edition!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! here are some

alrighty---isnt that cool!!!?!?!?!? i was so excited!!!  =) but then

our battery died in the expedition on the way home from

bartlesville so we were on the side of the road for a while...didnt

get back til like 4 in the morning!! haha but ya--then i came

back to school yesterday and went to dinner...did my

laundry....then i had class today!! now im procrastinating...

suprise suprise. haha* well---hope everyone is doing well!!!! love

hey everyone!!! wow---so i didnt exactly keep my promise to update more often. sorry. alright...so for this update....here we go....

FiRST SEMESTER:: well---i finally got used to being up here and had a good rest of the semester considering the whole mono thing. lol* GPA was decent considering my illness and it being my first semester ever. my sorority house won the academic award for highest gpa on campus so thats good. haha* i switched room mates at semester too and its goin to be ssoooooo much better and our room is sooo cute! hehe* come stay up here with me sometime if you want! just give me a call!! =)

CHRiSTMAS BREAK:: ok...so college is sooo cool cuz you have like a month for winter break---i actually had a month and 2 weeks though!! and i loved EVERY moment of it!! worked almost every day. went skiing for the first time in breckenridge and FELL iN LOVE with it!!  spent christmas with my family in colorado springs. broke up with my boyfriend of 3 months, but it was for the best. worked some more. stayed out til at least 2 every night the last 2 weeks i was home. got to go to my own church!!! spent new years with my friends that i NEVER get to see cuz they go to various oklahoma/missouri schools. hung out with my completely AMAZiNG family. 

PRESENTLY:: now......i dont want to be at school. i miss home WAY too much and my family and everything im familiar with.  had a REALLY rough first couple of days up here but its slowly getting better. im gettin into the Word again because i got distracted last semester and slowly drifted away from spending time with Him but i know Hes the only one who can pull me through this. He loves me too much to see me distraught or miserable. =)  so if yall would pray for me that would be awesome. classes are going to be a struggle this semester..im takin 3 more hours and theyre gonna be difficult. but ill handle it hopefully!!!

Wow---so ya its been forever and a day since I’ve updated this thing!! 2 months and 6 days to be exact. =)  well…a ton of stuff has happened in these past weeks. Here’s my life in a nutshell…well kind of…:

::CoLLeGe LiFe::  Well—I have officially completed 8 weeks of college!! And im still alive!! =)  ive been here for 9 weeks—cuz the first week was rush which was a very vital and crazy week.  I made a lifelong decision to pledge Kappa Kappa Gamma that week and i love it!! Initiation was 3 weeks ago and that was an adventure all in itself. Haha*  Even though I get homesick sometimes---im lovin Fayetteville. And even though my hogs aren’t doing to well this season…I still love the football games!! =)  Ive got a ton of amazing friends up here already and we’re always doin random stuff—gotta love the freedom you have at college! I cant tell you how many times Ive walked back into my dorm at 3 in the morning with class the next day! Its great. =)  o--i colored my hair again---im blonde again now. hehe* Classes are going well—theyre different though. Harder but not too much to handle. I had my western civilization midterm today and I thought it was going to kick my butt but I guess my 12 hours of studying the past 2 days paid off b/c it went well—or at least I think it did!! 

::HoMe SwEeT HoMe::  Even though I like Fayetteville…I’m home almost every weekend. It’s only an hour and a half/2 hour drive so its not bad at all!! I’ve also been to Stillwater to see everyone at OSU twice.  I was there for Orange Peel and then again last weekend to surprise Robbie for his birthday. I never thought I would miss home and my family so much but I really do! It’s just nice being home with everything that’s familiar to me for at least a couple days. We don’t get Fall break like everyone else….=( but I’m really looking forward to Thanksgiving Break.  Woo hoo for a week off!! And im lookin forward to Christmas break even more cuz I get more that a month off!! Yay*  This weekend my parents are comin to Arkansas cuz its dads day and they’re comin for that and the Auburn game!

::SiCk AnD TiReD::  Well..not every trip home has been joyous…the weekend of initiation I was supposed to be a leader at Asburys fall retreat and I ended up leaving to go to Tulsa cuz I thought I had strep…well…the next day I had a blood test done and found out I have mono. Yuk. Totally ruined my day.  I guess my busy schedule finally caught up with me. So ya---they told me that they couldn’t give me any medicine….and Monday I woke up and couldn’t swallow or eat anything so I ended up in the ER Monday night with an iv. Soo not fun. But they gave me some pain meds---they were fun. =) and some steroids so they helped a lot. I had to stay home all weekend which was nice. I basically slept the whole time. Haha then Sunday I went back to school and Monday I had a really bad reaction to my steroids and hydrocodone and my parents ended up comin back Tuesday morning and I stayed with my mom in the hotel all week. I just went to class, did my homework, ate and slept. Then I went back home with her for the weekend and this week has been a lot better so that’s good.  Im still gonna be sick for a few more weeks or possibly a few more months but I hope not! So pray for me if you want! =)
