| Does Anyone Read This Anymore? If you answer "yes" to the title question, you have probably noticed that I haven't updated recently. Part of that has to do with the work schedule that I am keeping. But, part of it also has to do with the fact that I am now, largely, blogging (if that's what you call it) at a new site (ShortAngryNinja). It is still in Beta mode--still being perfected--and has been authored by a friend of mine. You will note that there are some things to work on, but if you let him know how to make it better, he usually follows through. You are free to check out my blogs and/or start your own blog at ShortAngryNinja.com.
My blog is available here.
For a little while I'll try to cross-post my entries, but you should check out ShortAngryNinja.
Update: It's fixed, so you should be able to see it.

| What's up with the Weather?First this:

which resulted in this:

and this:
.
Now this (tonight):
...WINTER STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED... ...BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 4 PM CST TUESDAY...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LINCOLN HAS ISSUED A BLIZZARD WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 4 PM CST TUESDAY. THE WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
EXPECT LIGHT RAIN AND SLIGHT SLEET TO BEGIN THIS EVENING. THE PRECIPITATION WILL CHANGE TO ALL SNOW BEFORE MIDNIGHT AND ACCUMULATE TO 6 TO 8 INCHES BY DAWN. LOCAL THUNDERSTORMS MAY ALSO ENHANCE THESE AMOUNTS. STRONG EAST-NORTHEAST WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WILL GUST ABOVE 35 MPH AT TIMES...PRODUCING VERY LOW VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW. THE SNOW WILL TAPER OFF GRADUALLY TUESDAY MORNING.
A BLIZZARD WARNING MEANS SEVERE WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING. FALLING AND BLOWING SNOW WITH STRONG WINDS AND POOR VISIBILITIES ARE LIKELY. THIS WILL LEAD TO WHITEOUT CONDITIONS...MAKING TRAVEL EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. DO NOT TRAVEL. IF YOU MUST...HAVE A WINTER SURVIVAL KIT WITH YOU. IF YOU GET STRANDED...STAY WITH YOUR VEHICLE.

| We're OkayThis was last night:
http://www.sj-r.com/frontpages/031306Page1.pdf
We're okay and haven't sustained any damage to our property. All three
storms pretty much missed us. The worst thing that happened was the
loss of one night's sleep. |
