Google Street View is coming to Singapore!
Guess what I saw the other day when I was driving in the streets of Singapore?
Google Street View is coming to Singapore!
If you don't know what is Street View, go to maps.google.com and zoom in close to the streets of New York City or Los Angeles (or some major US city). Street View is something built into the maps that allows you a 360 degree view of the street or exact location that you put the market on. Go play with it, try it out!
And now - it's coming to Singapore! Look at the pics below! I managed to take some pics of the car with the camera mount! Now we know how it's done. :)
And the proof that this car belongs to Google - look at the sticker at the car door...

So Where's Marsk?
Throughout the past month I've been laced with emails and messages here and there. Friends have been asking me where I am and what I am currently doing, especially when some of my status messages in Facebook and MSN stated that I am in Singapore...
So here's a brief summary.
On the 11th of July 2008, at about 8am SG / 8pm EST, my father passed away peacefully at the age of 61. On the 12th of July, together with my sister, brother-in-law, and niece, we took the first flight we could get out of New York back home to Singapore. Although they've returned back to New York, I've been here ever since, and from the looks of things, I will be here permanently.
So that's the story. I think when I get back from NY I will be applying for a job as a server in Micky Dees.
