The End.

Well, folks this is it.  My last entry...at least for a year and a half.  This last week has been pretty fun spending time with everyone.  I can't believe tonight I'm getting set appart and Wednesday I enter the MTC.  It's coming up so fast.
Well, if you ever feel like sending a letter my address while I'm in the MTC...I should be there about 2 months ...is:

Sister Elizabeth Ida Haake
France Toulouse Mission
Provo Missionary Training Center
Bldg 1-MK Rm A106
2005 N 900 E
Provo, UT  84604

After that they cost a bit more since I'm in France...but I would still love to hear from you.  My address there is:

Sister Elizabeth Ida Haake
France Toulouse Mission
4, Rue Alaric II
Compains Caffarelli
F-31000 Toulouse
FRANCE

Well, I guess thats it.

Talk about an action packed week.
It all started last Sunday with my second councilor coming up to me asking me to speak for  the next Sunday.  Then that night I went to the Smiths to watch the Superbowl...which was highly amusing on account of Jenny's grandpa making hilarious comments...especially during the Rolling Stones half time show
On monday when my parents wanted me to clean the oven...it was nasty, and as I was elbow deep in black burned goo the phone rings.  It turns out to be the church travel agent wanting me to go to San Fransisco this week to apply for my visa.  So, I agreed and found out I got a chance to visit with my aunt and uncle, who I wouldn't have been able to see before my mission otherwise...wahoo.  I also got to stay the night with my grandparents in Salt Lake.
The rest of the week was kind of lazy just doing the last of the jobs my parents wanted me to do and watching movies in French.  Oh yeah and kind of writing my talk.
Thursday I packed all up and spent the rest of the evening waiting for a delayed plane.  After all that waiting I finally made it by ten, and got to visit for a few hours.
Friday I got up mega early to catch my six am flight to San Fran.  At the airport I got to meet a couple elders going in the MTC at the same time as me and a couple going to the Paris mission.  It was a fun trip for us getting out fingerprints and mugs taken at the French Consolate.  Then we checked out the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz all missionary style.  Fun times.  Then I flew home...well with a detour through Atlanta..and got home late and stayed up talking even though I was way tired.  I slept good, but had to get up early for my hair appointment.  I got all my hair chopped off.  It's rather sad, I miss my hair.  Then came home and relaxed and revamped after all that excitement.  Then, I got Sam's Mohawk all ready for his big homecoming date.  With the help of my mom, we pretty much created the most awesome hairdo ever.
Today I had my farewell.  The amazing part was there was a confirmation to take place that day also, which just brough in the Spirit for me.  Also, I ended up with a little less speaking time than planned.  I was shaking, but apparently no one noticed but my mom yay.  Hallelujah! : )  Beth came over for dinner and Dad made this very elaborate dinner...including the itallian style sushi...eww...meaning raw pork thats been smoked or something.  Needless to say, one more thing I can check off my trying list.
Anyways, I thought it was a pretty sweet week.

5 Weird Habits...

Ground Rules: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "5 weird habits of yourself", and people who get tagged need to write a Xanga entry about their 5 weird habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged and list their names.

So, Here goes:

1) I do not feel awake till I have eaten at least one bite of food...none of this skipping breakfast for me :) Also, I can't fall truly asleep until I've been on my stomatch for a few minutes and then turn on my right side.  I guess my body is particular about its rest.
2) Save the best for last is always my modo for eating, that applieas to all food.  So if I am saving something on my plate, don't worry I love it.  Sandwiches are the best though.  I don't like the crust so I eat around the sandwhich and eat the middle of the sandwhich last.
3) I come up with weird nick-names for all my family members excluding my parents.  They are not always nice either...Bum is a favorite one I use for all my brothers.  Although Zachy, Mike-in-Ike, Ben-jam-in and Sammy-boy have also been used.  The best is for pets though...I kind of evolve their names until they are unrecognizable.  Our cat was named Snuggles, but that was too normal for me so I called her Kitty Baby, which eventually evolved into Key-beebee.  Hugo has gone from Hugs to Hugies to Hugerts.  I'm sure there will be a few more before I leave.
4) I used to think about things while I ran, but I found it much more theraputic for me to go running without thinging about anything but my breathing lately.  So, if you see someone running down the street breathing robotically it's probably me.
5) I can't do math (actually it goes beyond math to most subjects, but I'll pretend its just math) without talking to myself.  Jeanette got the most of it while I did homework in our room.  But I sometimes feel bad for those that I sit by in the testing center.  I mean I try to keep it to an inaudible whisper, but I do wonder sometimes if they can hear me.

So there ya go 5 weird habits of Liz.

So, now just to finish the job.  I tag: Sam, Beth, Jenny, Amy, and Noelle

You know it is kind of funny to think of your five weirdest habbits.

Its been really warm here since I've been here except for the first week, so I think the birds are confused.  I was woken up by a huge flock of canadian geese flying north the other day.  But we had a blizzard last night which cooled things down a bit, and just now I saw a flock flying Southeast.  Poor birds, the seasons this year are really messed up.

Just so you know I'm not currently gaming, but I am listening to my brother play this game :)

So first of all I am going to try and pay closer attention to what I am typing...my last entry had like 5 typos.
So folks...thanks to Amy's request here is hugo.  Cutest dog ever but slightly vicious and deaf.   Oh, and he has forgiven  me, and now enjoys sharing the same side of the road as me. Although he still requires more stops at clumps of grass and rocks then I would normaly prefer on a walk
So, funny thing this week is flying by...it's been a while since I have been able to say that.  Maybe because I've been working and studying a little more, or maybe its because I actually have a few plans to look forward to this week, or possibly because I was able to apply for that visa.  Never-the -less I can hardly believe that it is wednesday night.
So, its weird I decided to not count down the days till I entered the MTC so time wouldn't drag on or I wouldn't start thinking about missing my family already, but that is pretty much impossible now.  Well I guess its possible if I never see the date again or if I remember to be as horrible at mental math as I am at college.  Oh well, I guess I'm doomed to count down the days from here on out.
So, tonight was fun my mom and I had a real heart to heart...of course filled with tears, laughter, and every other emotion.  Girl talk.  Man, my poor mom goes without it for so long.  Plus I have missed all the talks we used to have, I guess I should "fill up my canteen" as my cousin would say it, but with much more clean fun than that comment usually implies so that I won't miss it so much over the mission.  So, basically I have our releif society book club making it possible for us tonight.
So!  I have, throughout writing this entry, detected that I use the word so too frequently.  It's just a filler(at least how I use it), why do I even use it?  Well, because it sounds SO nice.  Also, really in my actual entry writing the third paragraph did not start with so, but I thought it would be comical for all of the paragraphs to start with so, so I replaced ok.  The good thing is it doesn't sould half bad there.  Oh man, that was like the most pointless paragraph ever written.  For that I apologize.
One last thing...this song by Better than Ezra and the gorrillaz "feel good" song are my weakness these days.

Hugo is mad at me, and he was just so cute about it when I took him for a walk today.  He carried his leash in has mouth and walked on the opposite side of the road from me....avoiding all eye contact with me.  All that because I made him stay upstairs while i was cleaning out carpets.  Animals are fun.
Also, it is a very scary thing to wash your hands when they are covered with glue and glass shards.  Luckily I got away with not cuts, but it took a long time.  However, my parents lamp seems to be in one piece again..although slightly more wobbly.
And my visa application and everything are all in the mail.  Wahoo for getting that done.  My poor brother saw me freak out in the car today when we could find no copying place, because all of them were out of business or none existant.  So we settled on a black and white copy from the library.  Who knows when I'll go to San Fran...probably while I'm in the MTC.
