So much is happening in my life that I feel like it's hard to keep up sometimes. I definitely felt it today...SO TIRED...all day long. I thought work would never end. But all is good and God is faithful. Wedding planning is still going strong and can't wait for 49 days from today!! It seems so close, yet so far.

So I felt the need to share my little adventure with you all. Nick and I, along with Jesse and Christina went to Jiminy peak this past sunday for some alpine slide and mini gold etc fun. We then went out to eat and came across one particular menu item...the "Big Bowman". This burger is probably the biggest burger I have ever seen. This burger is huge. I'm talking 5 pounds huge! So large that it takes 45 mins to cook, and we had the time and felt like it would be adventurous. So we got it. But that's only half of the fun story. I took Nick's credit card up to pay and for the first time, I decided to try to sign my name Laura Marchese. ( Wow, I think that was the first time that i typed it too.....weird!) So I did, and it was hard actually. I'm so used to the W that it was difficult to do it upside down for the M. I guess i'll get used to it eventually.

I never realized how much went into buying a house. I thought that you just went out and found one you liked and bought it. I was completely wrong. It's such a long and very stressful process. Thank goodness for my friends, family, and small group who are all praying for Nick and I, or else i think I would vomit every day just thinking about it!

I can't express how excited I am to see my dear friends from the south when ya'll come up for the wedding. I'm hoping that the foliage will be at a peak for you! Until next time...

I'm used to running around at the Y like a chicken with its head cut off. Now i'll definitely have to make time to work out...

Today it rained almost all day....the only nice weather was this morning -luckily we were able to enjoy it by playing some tennis with nick's parents. I'm really enjoying learning and hopefully i'm getting better each time..

Nick took me to the driving range last weekend. It was sooo much harder than i thought it would be to hit a ball with a stick. I wouldn't mind trying again, but i don't think that i'll ever be able to play an actual game.

I met my great uncle's fiaance today. He is 77 and has never been married. But now he is getting married to a great lady that he met at the senior center. And of course, one of the first things that they said to me...."We're beating you.....our wedding is before yours...." =)

Yesterday was a sad day. My mom threw out my Tasty Bake Oven...

I can still vividly remember playing with it in our old house....baking a tiny dish of brownies and then being able to eat them. I'm sure they tasted awful, but as a young child baking for the first time with her own oven, I remember thinking they were the best brownies ever...

My Tasty Bake Oven is defintely a fond memory.

In other news, the invitations are finished. And it barely took any time. All of the help and support from family and friends is such a humbling thing. As we were all being crafty with the stamps and ribbon, I sat back and look around the table at all the women who gave up their Saturday afternoon (when they could have been with their husbands or enjoying the nice weather) to help me....little old me. wow.

Going to my dad and brothers softball game tonight which should be fun. Also grilling for Nick. Good times.....summertime...
