| Merry Christmas everyone. I love Christmas- Christmas movies, carols, food- the whole thing. By the way, I'm leaving xanga and moving on to myspace.

| InvasionIt finally happened!!!! It was great. God is good. He moved asnd touched our lives. Could we ask for anything more?
The attendance wasn't half what we were expecting(hoping for), but it
all worked out. I am a natural worrier and stresser and I had many
reasons to, but I didn't and I know it's because of God's peace that
surpasses all understanding. Everything worked out-the number of
people, order of events, missing performers, unexpected performers .
Of course there's a lot we learned and things that we can improve on,
but it all worked out. 14 kids responded to the alter and everyone
experienced the love of Christ.
We had two artists from South Africa- Cjay and Spin the flava who both
did an excellent job and had us bouncing, jumping, screaming, and doing
all those things people do at partes The youth groups and other
local performers did a great job also. My brothers, a friend and I also
did two of our band's songs and it was really fun( I had people promise
me in advance that they would scream for our performance . We also
had a great time of Praise and Worship and a message.
God totally rekindled my passion for youth and discipleship. Seeing all
those kids and the hunger and potential reminded me of the dreams and
goals I have to work with youth.
The whole event was definitely anointed. God was with us, and made it
all work out. We asked Him to come and He did. We asked Him to touch
lives and He did. Thank You, Jesus. I can't wait for Invasion '07 !! | | |
| Invasion '06On November 18 we're having a huge youth event here in Swaziland. This is pretty much the first event of it's kind and size! We're expecting thousands of young people from all over the country. We're going to have different kinds of fun things, dramas, musical performances and then we'll have worship and a message.
Please pray for myself, Charles, and Patrick( American missionaries who I'm helping organise the whole thing) to have wisdom as we work on last minute stuff and promoting the event. Please pray for God's Spirit to be working in hearts even now and to be upon every single person involved. Please pray for coorperation from the youthy pastors and Christian community. Please pray for favor and for all the finances we need to to come. Please pray that evrything will be about Him!!
I'm so excited to see what God is going to do and so happy that I get to be a part of this. I know God'll do amazing things and just blow us away. I am really, really pumped!! I'm also realising that we need God!!! We need Him to be a part of every single detail. We need Him to work it all out. We need His provision. We can't forget that we are just vessels. This is His plan, His work. so please, please pray. Please ask your churches, friends, youth groups, etc, to pray. We cannot cover this with too much prayer!!

I read this and thought it
was some really good stuff so I thought I’d share it…
“There is no such thing as a
private life- ‘a world within the world’- for a man or woman who is brought
into fellowship with Jesus Christ’s sufferings. God breaks up the private life
of His saints, and makes it a thoroughfare for the world on the one hand and
for Himself on the other. No human being can stand that unless he is identified
with Jesus Christ. We are not sanctified for ourselves, we are called into the
fellowship of the Gospel, and things happen which have nothing to do with us,
God is getting us into fellowship with Himself. Let Him have His way; if you do
not, instead of being of the slightest use to God in His Redemptive work in the
world, you will be a hindrance and a clog.
The first thing God does with us is to get us based on rugged Reality
until we do not care what becomes of us individually as long as He gets His way
for the purpose of his Redemption. Why shouldn’t we go through heartbreaks?
Through those doorways God is opening up ways of fellowship with His Son. Most
of us fall and collapse at the first grip of pain; we sit down on the threshold
of God’s purpose and die away of self pity, and all so-called Christian
sympathy will aid us to our death bed. But God will not. He comes with the grip
of the pierced hand of His Son, and says- ‘Enter into fellowship with Me; arise
and shine.’ If through a broken heart God can bring His purpose to pass in the
world, then thank Him for breaking your heart.”
