guess where i am?!?!?
okay i bet you don't care. anyway. i'm in florida with the family. and this hotel rocks sooo much. they have free internet!! (i am SUCH a geek)
so, yesterday we came, and it was awesome. and we have good tv, and a great view, and there's a food town/wegman's (called Publix) on the SAME PROPERTY as the hotel. we got ice cream and candy.
to review:
free internet. free cable tv. ice cream. candy.
i am in heaven.
oh, dad just checked the hurricane watch (cuz i dont wanna die) and it looks like there's a hurricane headed STRAIGHT for jersey, and we'll be here, and you'll be there. and OH MY GOD WHEN WE COME BACK .... it better not break my house. or i will sue.
aaaanyway.
i miss my photoshop. the woste thing is that it's a 30-day trial. and it runs out in 2 days. i missed a MAJOR 2 days of free photoshop.
i just realized it's paint shop pro. not photoshop. whatever. and animation shop!!! i learned how to make xanga icons and i went kinda crazy.
oh and also, i got a manicure. for the first time in my life.
and as joan knows, i went boho. i got rid of almost all my clothes (cept the drop the chocolate shirt and smiley face pants and some other stuff i really like) and bought new clothes. also for the first time in my life. and my parents paid for a lot of it. $100. i paid $80. plus i'm getting shoes. ballerina flats in black, white, and silver.
and i wanna get hair extentions. they cost about $130 for clip-ins. but i think it would be really cool.
~ ranting stops ~
friday morning
i was really bored // my sister wanted a coach purse, and bid on one on ebay, but lost // she got upset and cried // to make her feel better, i did her hair
-_^ as joan would say
it's really awesome. i'm gonna put pictures of it here. anyway, it's like an upside down french braid and then a bunch of curls piled on top of her head.
i liked it a lot. so i took 100 pictures of it on my mom's camera...it was sooo sweet. and really really easy to do. but it took an hour and a half. and fifty-five bobby pins.
so0o0o0o friday afternoon mom lin and i went all over the place shopping...so fun. and everyone liked her hair. and i was all "i was bored" and it made me feel special. -_-
THEN we went to Cara Lynn's Bridal. it's this store that sells wedding gowns (duh - bridal) and also ::::: prom dresses!!!! and i of course had to go and see if they had my dress (YES - i have chosen my dress and hair for prom - 4 years to go!!!) well, i get there, and they have like NO dresses. and i'm all where are your prom dresses... and they say it's not prom season and that they have last year's dresses over in clearance. so i look there, and
IT WAS THERE!! in the wrong color and a size too small, but it was there. i tried it on, and ooooooooooooooooo it was sooo beautiful
so they said that if i wanted it i just had to call so they could special order it!!
this is the dress (i want the lavender one):

is it bad that it costs $299?
also...for prom, to be able to afford my dress and $50 shoes, and hair, and make-up, and accessories, i'm gonna start my own business, if you will.
i am going to do people's hair for prom, for less that it costs in salons, saving them money. and i am good. i've done 3 styles on my sister and she liked them. and believe me, she's picky.
so, if you need an updo, i can do it.
ha-ha!
i think i'll change my layout to prom themed...i am not obessed.
just enthusiastic.
