Yay!

My sister comes home on Sunday! (picture super excited bouncy Liz). Can’t wait… also get some time with my dad… always nice. on the bad side… big man winter is here and in full force… and I am so not ready…<crawls into corner whimpering> :) Almost never post to Xanga anymore…. so if you are looking for me… check Facebook - if I leave notes I am more involved there these days…. just leaving a brief note for the Xangaens who may wonder whence I wandered… :)

A wet paper sack…

http://www.poewar.com/writing-your-way-out-of-a-wet-paper-sack/

This link was on my hubby’s blog… I was lured into following it and it is pretty funny… you do not have to be a writer to find it ammuseing… if you have learned your alphabet and how to write basic words like “cat” and “bat” then you will be able to understand this humor. Enjoy! :)

Mandie and Reta… do you guys teach english? Your students might get a kick out of this… though I guess in other countries sometimes they take English literally (least in China they did) in which case this piece will be way more confusing then ammusing…. :)

Just curious….

When you read someone blog that they feel a persons situation is “rediculously sad”, what, exactly, do they mean?

Saying of the week…

As viewed by Liz on a church sign north of Frankfort while out on a run photographing violations:

“A closed mouth gathers no foot”

LOL :)

really not sure of the theological principle here….
