Well guys and dolls, it's been almost exactly 2 months since I last updated.  We all seemed to have slowed down a lot with the regular updates.

New in my life: I have a job sorted for next year!  I am going to take a year out of uni and work in industry for a year.  I've got a job in Oxford for quite a small pharmaceutical company called OSI Prosidion.  I'm going to love being in Oxford.  It's a uni town so it has a good social scene, cheap rent, plenty of fast food places, all the amenities a student needs.  Plus I have family and friends there already.

Exam results are coming out this week.  Everyone seems to know when their departments are telling them except us natscis.  Keeping my fingers crossed for chemistry!  A friend of mine who is doing a chemistry degree got 13%!  I think it takes talent to fail that badly but if chemists had no idea what was going on in that unit, how are natscis supposed to?

A small selection of random photos from LA.  I forgot about these.

So here I am staying with Krystal.  Yay.  I got in Monday afternoon after a harrowing journey of cancelled flights and people telling me to go to the wrong terminal so when I got in we just chilled that evening.  My body is so confused by multiple jetlag that I fell asleep at 10:30.  But thank god for the wonders of the Daily Show to keep me awake til then.  Yesterday we did loads of shopping on Melrose.  Everything is so much cheaper than in England even when it is expensive.  But still I bought more than I should.  Today we are just going to have a nice relaxed day involving pedicures and a movie.  Then Krystal's dad is arriving today so I get to have dinner with her family.  I'm having such a good time being here.  I hope everyone else is enjoying their holidays.

So I'm back in the States for Christmas.  My parents are annoyed that I'm just here for about 24 hours before I fly of to LA to see Krystal, but I don't care, I'm going to be back in time for xmas day.  And I'm so excited to finally see Krystal again!

Anyway, last weekend, my aunt got married.  I had a fun time and here are some photos.

Everyone had to wear fancy evening dress.  This is me and two of my cousins and their mother before the wedding.

I couldn't figure out how to rotate photos, sorry.  This is me and because of my father's thumb, you can't see the awesome feather thing I have in my hair.

My dad, resplendent in a gold cummerbund.

The bride and groom cutting the cake.

The back of my Auntie Debbie's wedding dress, she looked so gorgeous!

Unfortunately, my grandmother has been possessed.  Seriously, I have no idea why her make up looks so bad on camera.

In my jetlagged state, I think this is all I can manage.  Have happy holidays everyone.

More pictures!  My mum visited from the 20th to the 30th of Ocotober and has sent me some pics from then so for once I am posting relevant and recent photos.

Dressing up!  It's hard to tell, but Tony owns a blue crushed velvet suit.

My mum took us out for lunch in a cute little cafe.  Free food!

So I had to have her round my place with my aunt and uncle and cook for them.  My tiny kitchen.  Good thing Chloe and Tony weren't there or there's no way we would have fit.

And here is my house.  I live on the top floor of the house with the square door.  It was actually raining when I took this picture, I have no idea why it looks perfectly clear.

And that is all.  No actual words for you.  Hope it isn't as cold for everyone as it is here.  No, what I actually hope, is that you all have decent working heaters, unlike mine.
