You should all know how I feel about xanga. But now is not the time for name calling.

I woke up early to go to school for an 8 am session that I had only expected to last about 5 minutes since I only wanted the professor's approval to get into that writing class. I ended up sitting through the entire 100 minutes. The class was nice. It had more than 6 people... I think I'm the 15th. It's very interactive. The professor isn't that intimidating. She's petite and easy-going. She explained a lot of the things that my old professor just assumed everyone knew.

Her class is reading different materials than my other class. I'll have a lot of work to make up but I should be caught up since we only meet 2 days a week and her class is not as fastly paced. I'm excited. This morning they explicated a poem. It reminded me of the time Mr. Goldberg and the Art Club dissected Robert Frost's "After Apple Picking". That was a lot of fun, and so was the one this morning. I spoke up a lot. I guess I'm more comfortable with a medium sized class than one with 6 people in it. There's not as much focus.

Here's my New schedule:
Monday
11.45AM - 01.25PM Spanish Literature
04.35PM - 05.40Pm Calculus 2

Tuesday
08.00AM - 09.05AM College Writing
01.35PM - 03.15PM Engineering Computer

Wednesday
04.35PM - 05.40PM Calculus 2

Thursday
11.45AM - 01.25PM Spanish Literature
04.35PM - 05.40Pm Calculus 2

Friday
08.00AM - 09.05AM College Writing
01.35PM - 03.15PM Engineering Computer

I only have one class on Wednesdays but I'll be in school the entire day. I have Work Study then from 9.30 to 4.00. Hopefully next week I'll remember to bring lunch.

Today I missed Cesa's funeral. I had to go to my class. I feel bad but my uncle said it was ok. I should visit the cemetery some time this weekend.

Damn. So here I am.... Anyway, I've been in this lab since 3. My back has been bothering me since Monday. I don't think it's my entire back, just my right shoulder. Probably because I stress it too much with the bag I carry. I should alternate.. If that's not the reason, then I may have to get this thing removed and have it replaced by a prosthetic one.. I heard those were nice. Haha.

On a better note, I aced the Physics Midterm. Hah. Eat my fist, Torques and Angular Motions! I checked my Professor's website and sure enough the answers were 3, 100 and 5. (Hah this sorta looks like a lottery drawing). I posted those numbers in my lj, last night--or should i say earlier this morning.. However, I can't say much about the 2 tests I took today though. I kinda messed up my GE one, even though I spent a lot of time studying it last night and this morning... albeit I didn't get to study the last 2 chapters.. Which to my misfortune took up 65% of the exam! Ahhh..

It's freezing in here.. You'd think that being indoors would be warmer.. but apparently the Computer labs in this school don't obey that law.. (yes, law! hehe.. sigh.. reminds me of jude law.. oooh)

Alright I better head to class.. I'm hoping it's warmer in there.. Otherwise I may need help.

Wednesday, November 24, 2004

This thing seems to be rather abandoned...

I woke up early in vain today. I went to my 8 am class and no one was there. Evidently, the Professor had cancelled the class. I guess he told the class that the other day when I was just walking in--late as usual. Oh well, I guess I'll just study for my Calculus Test in the interim.

On a rather bizarre note, yesterday he and I were spectators of fat Boston Common squirrels carrying on their daily routine of gathering food from the surroundings (aka garbage bins) and from ridiculously obsequious passers-by who would do absolutely anything to get the fatties to stop and be fed by them--even to the point of oreo cookie sharing!

One of the fatties, whose identity shall remain anonymous, jimmied right smack in front of us. It looked as if it were disgusted to see us sitting on that bench seemingly spying on him go.. It was also probably.. just probably.. insulted that I had kept calling him and the rest of the Boston Common squirrel population a fatty so he took a leak there.. the same way as how humans would spit at the sight of a person he doesn't like.(But seriously! Haven't you seen the size of those things??!??)

We have been sitting on that bench for quite some time with the "squirrels" on plain view. Intrigued we decided to feed them. He pulled out his bag of oreos.. and took just one to see how the squirrels would like it. I took a small piece and lowered my arm so that the squirrels would be able to reach it. One came along and went for the cookie. But it rejected it! Ahh.. So it was his turn. A squirrel came by and it ATE the oreo that he handed it. Ahhh.. "It [the other squirrel] was too good for the Oreo", he commented. Maybe he was right.. However, I think the squirrel didn't eat the oreo I gave because I had kept on calling them fat.. Ahh. Anyway.. so he was feeding this one squirrel.. then another squirrel came running towards him (the food) and <STRIKE>buttheaded</STRIKE> headbutted the squirrel that he was currently feeding. Not only are Boston Common squirrels fat, they are down-right VICIOUS!!!

Lastly, there was also one squirrel who was looking through the trash bin for food. Initially, we saw it just walking along the rim of the can. We thought it was just standing on the rim for no reason and talked about what might happen if it actually fell in the bin. Then we saw it fall. We didn't think it would be able to come out cuz we thought that the bin wasn't even half empty, and I didn't think the squirrel could make it cuz of its weight also. So I was thinking, "maybe we should get it". Then next thing we knew, the squirrel jumped right back out with an apple in its mouth, and scurried towards the tree and climbed it protecting its claim. Wow.

That's the end of the Fat Boston Common Squirrel Story.

Maybe next time we should observe Fat Boston Common Pigeons.

Sunday, November 14, 2004

Well this isn't really much of an update. I merely changed the song in here to this. It's a tagalog song called "Kahit Kailan" by Southborder. I tried looking for the lyrics but I can't find it. If I can be bothered, I'll write it up myself and provide the translation.

I also owe a few people an "email". Janice.. sorry it's such a long time.

Hmm.. well I just got back from NJ this morning. I have to get started on my homework. The sun is setting and it's only 4.46.

Umm yes, this will be all.

Tuesday, October 19, 2004

Ok, I just wasted about an hour or so trying to make my xanga look like my lj. But you know what? LJ is still better.

I don't care what you think Andrea. Haha. Oh shit, she's sitting right next to me. :-X

Monday, July 26, 2004

You thought you can hide from me but no!
