I got around to it.

Fear not though - you are on your way to world domination.

If you can read this, I can stop suddenly and sue you

You Are Somewhat Machiavellian
You're not going to mow over everyone to get ahead...
But you're also powerful enough to make things happen for yourself.

You just don't get ugly yourself - unless you have to!

la la la

What Your Soul Really Looks Like
You are quite expressive and thoughtful. You see the world in a way that others are blind to.

You are not a very grounded person. You prefer dreams to reality. For you, it's all about possibilities.

You see yourself with pretty objective eyes. How you view yourself is almost exactly how other people view you.

Your near future is still unknown, and a little scary. You'll get through wild times - and you'll textually enjoy it.

For you, love is all about caring and comfort. You couldn't fall in love with someone you didn't trust.

You Should Get a JD (Juris Doctor)
You're logical, driven, and ruthless.
You'd make a mighty fine lawyer.

On Average, You Would Sell Out For
$1,056,145(where the range is $1 to $1,123,950 lol)

You are 60% Aries (I wonder what the other 40% is )

You Are 56% Cynical
Yes, you are cynical, but more than anything, you're a realist.
You see what's screwed up in the world, but you also take time to remember what's right.

soulsearching in my dreams

i've noticed that i don't dream much anymore. literally and figuratively. i don't have such a nice sleeping schedule that i have time for lots of rem sleep so no organizing of the day's events; thats for shower time now. i don't dare to dream anymore since i realize what a lazy slob i am. remeber that line from the movie troy? IMMORTALITY eternal sorrow, despair, loneliness, guilt,regrets..., it's yours! a few years ago, a lifetime ago, i would have taken it. not so today. through realizing that i have but 60 seconds every minute and 60 minutes every hour and 24 hours a day, i am beginning to desire the events that collect to form my life.
Poetic huh?
Aw F*** it.
The truth can hurt so watch where you stick it.

Bone's flavor

Post one of a public journal of (currently) infinite length.
LW retreat was AWESOME, and here is something that I took away from it.

I remember an analog of reading the Old Testament being like gnawing on bones because there is so much rules and genealogy.  While other parts, maybe the stories or maybe the New Testament, are like milk and honey; they are easy to take in.  Well, a lot of the Bible used to be like bones to me because I read it simply as words.  I’ve treated the Bible in the same way I’ve treated science textbooks.  When I read Paul’s letter in 1 Corinthians 4, I didn’t see his affection, I didn’t realize he was being sarcastic.  But there was my mistake, because the Bible is not just a textbook.  Just as history is His story, the Bible is the stories of God’s people and stories are not devoid of the emotions and tones that move those who read them.  So, even if there are passages that do not seem exciting, there is always a reward from God.  Animals know this well; they don’t just gnaw on bones to maintain their teeth.  They gnaw on bones for the same reason that we (at least Asians) use bones in soup, for the rewarding nutrients and flavor protected by the bone’s hard exterior.  I now read passages with a greater understanding of the purpose of their author.

But now I must also be getting to bed.  I do hope to get up early and do the many things I should do in the day.  So good night and God Bless YOU!
