wow

Man, it's amazing what a little time w/ our Father can do, isn't it?  Like, I've been reading the Old Testament and I have come to feel so blessed to live in the time that we do.  They used to have to do so many perfect sacrifices for only a hope of coming close to God.  But all we have to do is believe in what He did for us, and we are saved.  It is so much better than making sacrifices, don't you think?

new layout

Hey dudes

I just found the coolest layout site, so I put up a new layout on this site.  What do you think?  AANND I joined some blogrings, you should check em out cuz they're cool!

Hmm It's always nice to spend time with God.  Even if it's just reading in Leviticus, it's comforting just to know I'm His :)

hmmm

Well well... God is working in very interesting ways... so many people at youth group tonight had prayer requests for unsaved family members and friends. I can see God working in hearts, and maybe there'll be some amazing revival of a ton of people coming to know Jesus. I already see it in my brother and my dad, who we've been praying for for a few years. It's pretty amazing to see God works. Even in the little things. I enjoy how I'm finally beginning to realize what God's done with different circumstances in my life... it's interesting. Here are some prayer requests of mine... I'm daring to share them with you because I trust that we are all in for praying for each other. (let me know if you have any as well, because if I know and think of things, I will pray for you as well.) prayer is powerful.
-I hate to start with myself, but I'm going to--my health is worse again. I have a lot of pain through the lower rib areas in the front and back. I have new streaks of pain. And the center of my chest is kinda rhaspy feeling? (that's the best way I can explain it) please pray for guidance for the doctors and/or healing
-my brother Josiah has bronchitis pretty bad
-Josiah and Daddy got in a car accident, but they're alright, w/ some shaken painish stuff
-Josiah and Daddy are struggling but sort of drawing to God again (praise the movement but they need strength)
-me and school. I miss a lot. it's sort of hard to keep up sometimes
-college stuff for all of us college-bound
-an anonymous friend of mine is having some unmentionable struggles (she's not a Christian, but I want her to come to Christ and I want her to be ok w/ what is going on)
there's more but I can't think of them right now. well I know some for other people but I will leave it at their discretion to make them public.
Thank you. I love you all.

God fixes things?

We are in God's hand, and nothing can happen to us that doesn't go through His hand, right? We need to remember that those things that we are scared of, we shouldn't be, cuz God won't let harm come to us unless He has a purpose for it. There's a comfort in that that we need to remember. I really need to remember it, too...

wow who knew a youth group message about cell phones could mean so much?

I realized tonight that I need to pray for my dad more. There is still hope. He has Jesus, he just may have forgotten what it's like to know you'll live in eternity w/ the only One who matters... he seems closer, too... he just needs more prayers. Wow, thanks Jeff, for such a cool message, even though you probably didn't realize the story about your dad helped me w/ mine... wow.
