It's seriously dumbfounding sometimes when you close your eyes for what seem a minute and fell into delirium, just to open your lids and found that its another weekend wasted gone.

I found myself getting alot of the same questions from the same persons. Really something I don't understand actually. Ask yourselves. What would be the 1st question you love to ask zong when you see him? I could really guess actually what you might ask. Those ones...

Grandma: Why you so thin?
Grandma: Your mom got feed you or not? (follow up question from the above)
Relatives: You're really 23 years old?
Ding (and Probably most gals anyway but she asks without fail) : Got gf liao?
2nd Aunt: So today what time you go for work?
2nd Aunt: Are you late for work? (Yes each time she ask this somehow I felt that its more like a confirmation than a question, she asks this regardless of what time I left for work:let it be 7am/8am/8.30am)
Hye: When you coming to find me?
TC/Pura: Dota? <== LOL

I guess work nowadays are no longer limited that you work only in the office. Companies are smart that they provide you with laptops so that you could follow up at home, whihch undoubtly expands the boundaries of delivery. It's kinda cool that no one actually dictates what time I should come/leave the office but at the same time it would be really fearful not to be in the office. You wouldn't want somebody looking for you at your cube because you're not on the office communicator because you overslept or stuck in a traffic jam somehwere trying to reach the office. Then came the question that I myself been wondering. Is this what they called, "flexi hour"?

Still it's sometimes very annoying that each time I came home and my 2nd aunt pops her head up and ask me, with a sinister smile, "Late for work?" when I actually sometimes just do a shrug to indicate that "what time I reach actually doesn't matter considering I left office at 8pm and reach at 9pm?" I did remember there was once she replied to that shrug though, "Flexi hour meh? ***el practices flexi hour meh?" and then it was so memorable that I actually answered, " No la, you lagi flexible. I go out early you also can ejek. I go out late you lagi ejek. I reach late you ejek, I don't reach at all (meaning it is a holiday) also you lagi ejek!"

Here's a very thoughtful question asked by Win the other day. "So ah, you in Penang ah, your papa mama got miss you a?"

1st thing that came into my mind is: WTF?

She laugh at her own question like 2 secs after she realized what she just asked. So I toss back another thoughful question : "Eh, so ah, I should ask you oso la, your boyfren miss/love you o not a?"

We laughed.

It's been awhile since we talked and I guess there's no one in Kelantan would resemble me when it comes to talking stuffs like this (not topic wise but manner wise). At least in Penang you still have KTeng and ZeS is now back in KL so...

It's good to arrive early but it won't hurt arriving late: if you don't
mind parking further from the office. Ironically the 3 days that I've
reach at 9pm to park at Car Park B which was like across the football
field to the office, that 3 days I was in office until late 7 or 8pms
and that 3 days, it was raining super heavily. I'm used to carry a
smaller umbrella (which has been with me since like primary and yeah I
did bring to CHS and MMU as well) in my bag so it wasn't so bad. Just
that the umbrella was sort of broken at the support and was quite
fragile. Actually had to match the direction of any incoming wind so
that the umbrella wouldn't be toss away by the wind.

Ok you may ask. "Change umbrella?" Actually I had an umbrella in my car which I could bring down. Still, what I did not forsee was myself staying at office after 7pm. Everyday I reach the compound hesitating that should or should not bring it down (TBH wasn't quite a hassle actually) but each day I sort of promise myself to go back early and damn it I break my own resolution and the freaking rain always starts/or still pours at the time I have go back. Urgh! Weirdddddd!

Just finished watching Code Geass R2 Ep 25. Wraps up another series. So funny when you feel accomplished completing a drama/anime series, but at the same time if you really liked the series, you feel empty as that's another chapter of your life concluded. Sigh.

And life goes on. Closing this chapter now. Take care everyone.
QFT Brown Owns but still...

Peaceful Saturday night.

Chatting with Ahws is always fun. (Actually the site just put a shinny on&off lightbulb-tag just beside the ManUtd vs Liverpool row.), I had a quick 1v1 interview with our 2008 President Award winner.

Zong: How many guys sms you to tell you mu lose a? I remember when "Hallows" was released I purposely refuse to read it until I graduated as it builds an anticipation and it fills my heart knowing that I have something to look forward to that even if I have no plans for the holidays I would've have an unread book on the shelf waiting for me to pass time. Now..its like he says...

"What did I do when I finished? I think I just put the book down and

More shock is that son had been working in Penang for a month. Lagi best is that they couldn't recognize the son as he seem to slim down a little. No no! The best is when they realized that they were actually talking to the 2nd son and not the eldest son!!!

"WAH...an ne dua han liao" (so grown up already) they claimed. I thought one of my relative was my brother's age but both of us were upmost suprised when we found out that we are both '85s. "Gee, don't stand near me!" she said. "I will look so old beside you!"

Before that the waiter was asking everyone in my table whether he/she wanted a glass of red wine. I was waiting for my turn while secretly rehearsing some "cool gentleman" kinda response in my mind and it was kinda weird coz I did not hear from him. He was just asking my aunt beside me whether she wanted a glass or no. I turned around and he had conveniently walked away! -_-''' wtff! I turned to Aunt Teen and suddenly everyone on the table realized what happened. Aunt Teen had to actually walk to the wine counter and convince that smart ass that I should have one for that joyous ocassion. Really man. Don't assume! Jeez!

Then after a few working days the long awaited Thursday night came. Yes la! One more day only then I shall be able to enjoy my lovely 3 days break from work. Sunday was the Merdeka day and Monday will be the Merdeka replacement holiday. Planned to make full use of the 3 days to catch up on my sleep. Didn't really have a chance to fully rest after the convocation and the trip to Bkt Gantung(for Dan's).

Went upstairs and turned on my pc to eagerly watch the replay of Kingsurf vs Zenith in the ESWC finals. The match was already played earlier this afternoon but I refused to login to any of the gaming websites while I was in office. It was just into 5 minutes of the game where every player picked their hero when suddenly Aunt Sim called for me to help her support grandpa.

It was only a normal routine to help someone with has phelgms in his lungs with a hit or two to his back. Grandpa was kinda weak so he was kinda suffering. Suddenly he started to stare at point blank and did not respond. At first we were just calm and thought that he was tired. What we thought was correct but it seems that there were more issues to this exhaustion. Aunt Sim start to repeat the same phrases again and again, as an atmosphere of panic started to surround the room. When Aunt Teen came upstairs after her dinner, we decided to take him to the hospital.

When we arrived all we thought was to seek medical attention to suck out the phelgm in the lungs. We never expected that a normal X-ray scan had shown us the cruel fact that one side of his lungs had been severly infected and had to be removed. Watching too many miracle shows of House, I never thought serious it would be when the doctor said that he needed to be intubated. The next thing we knew, we found ourselves outside of ICU. Then came the doctors told us that he was now relying on meds to survive. Aunt Sim actually thought that the meds are like you know...those cough medicine type where you take them and few days later your cough is gone etc. I was quite sure though, that the doctors, not once but ever since he was brought into the ICU, mentioned that "be prepared for the worst". When transporting him back to our house, I just had to confirm wiith the doctor. "How long does the med will last?" The answer was short and cruel. "15 minutes."

The ambulance had moved out. I drove Aunt Sim's car and followed suit. Only 15 minutes, I had. When I reached the hospital exit, the staff asked if I could give a smaller change as he had closed the cash machine. Was furious at the guy. "I only got 15 minutes and you so fucking lazy to open the cash machine? Stupid!" I thought. The ambulance had long vanished from my sight. I turned to the mischief and said,"Can you hurry? I need to go." I wasn't sure whether I yelled. Didn't bother to explain when he handed me the change.(Come to think of it, I wondered if he did opened the cash register to get me my change.) Accelerated on the road. Even turned on the hazzard light to make sure (ha! abit of playfulness on my part to do so) Soon the ambulance was in sight and soon we were all at home. Suki was so heartbroken that she couldn't unlock the door. Made a fool of myself trying to open the door by unlocking the wrong lock. But I guess everyone was too rush to make a fuss of my stupidity.

Then, he left.

Was not even sure what was the exact time. It didn't matter. To me, it was the moment he left ICU. Still, Aunt Sim and Teen thought they saw vague breathing and pressed on his hands and tried to secure a pulse.

Called mom. They were already on the highway. Surely it must've been a long and painful journey.

Aunt Ling and Po came along with Uncle OBa. All of us sat in the living room staring at his peaceful stance. Minutes later, a stranger with a motorcycle came knocking at the door, appologizing while he handed over his business card. "We'll help you handle this, don't worry~" Uncle OBa looked at the clock and said, "Aiya, this one slow already lo.Last time got one time, just came out of hospital and reach house, these people already crowding there d..."

Soon 3am crept by. Couldn't stand the drowsiness anymore. Went upstairs and saw that my pc is at the 5 minute mark of the Kingsurf vs Zenith match. As the monitor shuts down, my eyes went off too...

Woke up to some crying in the living room. It was 430am I think. Saw my sis Ying at the stairs. She had that foolish smile that lighten my heart a little. Then it sank deep when I realized that the crying was from my mom and Aunt Teen, who was locked deep in a hug. Saw my uncle's red teary eyes. Wondered if that was from the exhaustion of waking up in the middle of the night and driving 4 hours, or ....?

Friday morning came. SMS-ed SK to told him what happened and asked permission to came in late. It was approved and I went downstairs to take a look around. The living room sofa was shifted to the dinning area to make space for his "big house". Everything was moving so fast and lots of stuff in the living room had been shifted already. SK called and told me to just take the day off. "Don't worry about work." He said. It was a soothing conversation. Feel asleep shortly after.

Many came to show their condolences. Amazingly, for working less than 2 months, I received a bouquet from the company. More awesome fact is the bouquet was the 1st to arrive. As more and more flooded the area, days past.

Tueday finally came. There was a band who was playing some music in the garden. They played different songs than those that I heard for Dan's, yet although it was just a simple, light tune being played, I never knew any strumming of guitar could be so suffocating that can make any resilient soul's expression change. As we recite our prayers and planted our joysticks, organisations(Aunt Teen's company, some of grandpa's old associates, my uncle's associates) stepped forward and show their respect. Then, as his "2nd home" was placed into the carriage, we started the black parade. It's funny how I should call it "black" as in fact nearly everyone was dressed in white tops. Just when we walked for quite awhile and I actually thought all of us are actually gonna walk to Bt Gantung . Yeah, Dan's was there too..it is hard to describe the feeling that I have to go there twice in less than a month...Anyway a bus was waiting for us there and we boarded it. The bus surged yet its cruise was heavy as it bears the sorrow of many of us that are on it. We reached shortly after and the "service" ( a more delightful term KH suggested me to use to replace the actual one) continues. There in Bt Gantung, for the 2nd time in less than a month, I bid farewell to another person in my life, knowing that I shall never hear him speak again.

And that, was 4 days ago. Went into the master bedroom just now. AuntTeen and Sim had removed one of the tilams in the room. The reality of grandpa finally gone strikes again. Yet it was relieving to when Aunt Sim explained that she removed the extra bed because she wanted more space between the beds and the window. "Yayaya.." I replied. Then I asked, "why not sleep this side then?" I pointed to the opposite side of the beds. "Oh, I don't like to sleep beside the wall. " Mischievously, I said, " Ohh, next thing you don't like to sleep on the bed oso lo?" No response for that comment, sadly, as Aunt Sim started her usual storytelling of the other teachers in her school.

Yeah, life goes on....

p.s. Finally watched Kingsurf vs Zenith. Kingsurf lost in that ESWC finals match . It was a great run by Kingsurft! Funny how it reminded me of ChongWei's lost in the China Olympics. >_<

To Dan,

For once, I wish to know that the reason I cannot message his MSN anymore is because he decided to change a new msn account, instead of.....

Sigh.

Rest in Piece Ebby/Xellir/iDanz.
Breathtaking

Breathtaking both Physically and Mentally. It suddenly feels like so long ago...so long that it was like even wayy before the prehistoric age where even history could not be composed.

Just bought a chickie meal from KFC on Sunday. Shit. Dumb me actually asked for a Revive instead of ice milo. ARGH! Showed my aunt the toy from the meal. Yup. "They con you." She said. I think if I give it to a 5 year old kid nearby, he will point at me and say "HAHA you zha dou. GONG KIAAAAAAA!"

I sat back on my chair at this very moment. Trying to recall what happened in order to fill in this post. Just too hard. It was like rollercoaster. It was too fast for you to conclude what you really see and what you really thought of it. You just know one thing. It happened.

But I'll try my best. For you readers who actually took the time to even come here to check it out.

Anyway for those of you who do not know, I'm working in Bayan Lepas now ^_^ It was 4 weeks ago when I re-met KTeng and WYew in Penang. 3 weeks ago I found out that the seniors who stayed 2 rooms beside my hostel room back in my 1st year in MMU is actually my colleagues. And 2 weeks ago, I found out that one of the seniors in another team is actually the same engineering batch and a friend of my brother's. Cool.

My dislike for driving grows tenfold when I reached here. Back in KL, the power to bully usually is determined by the larger the siize of the vehicle or how imBA the brand is. Here, the motorcyclist rules all. The main roads, small roads, coastal roads, side walks are all infested with them. Even some motorists are driving like they are driving a motorcycle. I found this unbearable.

The other day I was arriving at this traffic light and the countdown was approaching zero so I stopped still about 1 second. Sat back. Put to Neutral. Pulled the handbrake. Dong zang si wang (Peep left look right turn to the back and observe front) abit. No cars was beside me and the path infront of me is clear. Felt so relieved that I will not have to "bumper to bumper". Took a look at the opposite motorcyclist infested who are all raring to go at the sight of the green light at their side.

Weird. This is weird.

Do you know why?

I'm sure it was green at their side. 5 seconds or so and they were still immobile.

What the.

Vaguely,I think, they are... looking at me?

I thought I saw some of the faces are either in awe or disbelief that I actually stopped.

It was then I came to a conclusion. When they are already moving, motorcyclist are fearless, doing whatever manuvere to swap thru lanes and annoy motorist while jimat traveling time and petrol. Now while they are immobile and waiting at the traffic light, they are realized that they are human and not cats(yeah a better and shorter word would be "kiasi") and are afraid of clashing into speeding cars who would just speed through the traffic light that just turned red for that split second if they stepped on their fearless gear too early(right after the green light).

Nehhhhhhhhhhhh.... I think for the island people who will "hon" at you just because you drive too slow at a curb, I think, they must be thinking...

"Boh Chia, eh hu, goh mai gia." ( no car in front, still can make it for the traffic light, still dowan to go wo)

"sibeh GONG KIAAAAAAA!" (ok..this is self explainatory)

And yes, for those you do not know. I am now officially not in MMU liao. So if those of you who come to me and ask "eh you2 zong1(palm oil but not the tree) ah, how's Malacca?" I will jot down your name here in this xanga blog and make sure the whole world laugh at you. No laaaaa. Not so cruel. Zat you nonstop only la.

It was Friday. Actually had the lovely JSern to fetch me to Cyberjaya. Nyah haha! Went to McD drivethru 1st to bought a McBreakfast. Got split up with her as we went in to do the neccessary procedures for the convocation. It was pandemonium. There was a great wall of MMU right beside the extension MPH. Too much for me. Din bother checking how far the line stretched. Fortunately the imba LKen was there and she "pssttt psssttt" me abit and we talk talk talk until naturally I'm in the queue. Oh well. Then comes YJi and we talked until he is naturally in too~ But YJi is really YJi la. He even chat to the 2 PhD graduates behind him (or rather me...no la..actually was behind LKen) and all of us agreed that we will never miss this part a bit after we left MMU.

After verifying that our ID cards could be used properly for the convocation, we terus move on to another spot in order to grab our graduation robes and invitation card and car sticker. Then, me and YJi stopped. It was like a refugee camp during lunch time in front of us. Nuuuu....just when we decided to queue for our robes, the announcer called to tell that we are supposed to attend the briefing about tomorrow's ceremony. The paling coordinated move of the whole process is every counter are closed to make sure students actually go in the grand hall for the briefing. No choice lo. Me and YJi followed WWYap into the hall. In one of the briefings they were showing the do and don't of when receiving the cert from Dr Siti. One of it was a guy standing straight, stretching his hand out while looking sideways to Dr Siti to receive the prize. Freaking yau yeng man! Most imBA photoshop ever!

Then after the briefing was ended. Went out and saw that people were queueing and it was seriously impossible to even cut queue. Went to grab my graduation robe asap and headed to the invitation/carsticker section. Thanks BJiok for stretching his arm thru the slits of the glass door to retrieve our ID cards to process our things. Then he came out and told me, "All pass. Only yours failed. They say you need to verify your card again." What the. Disbelief. Coincidentally NickWc was right on the queue so I faster "pssttt pssstt" him over and pass him the card to tolong, hoping 2nd time is the charm. Then Kumar came out and tell me. "Zong. You....blablabla......FAILED!" Arbish! JSern was calling and asking am I done cuz she need to go home and make up to take the grad pics later in the evening (Not true la! Pulling her leg only. Although that was her plan.) Anyway she came and I told her with a sad face what happeened with the prospect of re-queing again. Then she said "NO NEED LA~ WE just go in only! Tell them verify liao apasal tak jalan!" Inspiring idea that I could never thought of. I terus tell the security and went in and terus verified my card again. Then I go back to the smartcard section and terus got.."zha-dou-ed".

The crowd was lesser now. No more himpit2. Queues are shorter and now can even afford to lie down in the room. But I was fed up. I asked permission from the security for my dilemma and I went straight in to the counter and told the personnel what happened. Lagi zha-dou is that I think they never check the card again and terus hand me my things. WARGH! Pull hair! Terus come out. Look at JSern. Shake head.

What happened later that evening was not so important. Went for a haircut with YJi cuz he was saying he's going so I tagged along. Well, I just have that "zong" factor. You know right. I always like to do that hand adjustment hair habbit as long as my hair is thick and long enough. YES YOU GUESSED IT! Right after a hair cut and the senior hairstylist styled my hair hardworkingly, I instinctively, you know, NOT MY FAULT LA, INSTINCTly, do that that that habbit la. I think her eyes pop out and she had dried tears when she saw that. Terus help me style abit back. That one really, too late to appologize. Felt like she always curi look me while I was waiting for YJi, with a smirk on her face, later on. Must be thinking..."GONG KIAAAAAAA!"

Then after slept through the nearly half of the breath-taking ground-breaking opening ceremony in Beijing, Saturday came.

Everyone has his/her own version of the event. Don't want to spoil yours and I'll keep mine.

I dedicate this to those, no matter which faculty you are in, no matter which year you are born, no matter which university you came from....

This very very special pic...

We made it.

Special thanks to Bobby for everything.
record

There's little difference betweeen record and history. Both dictates something that already happened but I believe a "record" will always hold true until something proves it wrong but for a "history" it will be always be true(unless of course, it is wrong at the 1st place).

For instance, well , erm..e.g....let me think...for an example...just to prove my arguement.the situation is like this....imagine....aiya..con you only...I'm just too lazy to think of metaphors or case studies to support my point la..ROFL! CON YOU NIA!

So last Sat night, I saw Bobby online and thinking that obviously this poor fella had a tiring weekend of work probably should just spend time with him maybe go yum cha or sth. And yes, notice the "last Sat night" and the date of this entry. It's AMAZING "when" I chose to update my blog. NGek ngeK~

Okok..back to the thing...so....it was around 8.30pm when suddenly I thought, since CK didn't reply my call and ChiatWooi was somewhere else while I do not have Jerhuan's number...why not...just watch a movie and call it a night? YES. Sat night you might think. But NO WORRIES. Both of us are Subang Jaya and USJ people. AND WHAT DO SUBANG AND USJ PEOPLE DO IF THEY DECIDED LAST MINUTE TO WATCH A MOVIE?

You can always go to SUMMIT....

YES...it is a known fact instead of a known history or record, that.

Mom and sis went for a camp and won't be in that night so the house was kinda quiet without my mom chatting with my aunts from Penang through the phone and my sis rebut-ing computer with my bro. It's weird actually to call it "camp". I duno la. Staying overnight at a school...that is JUST FREAKING OPPOSITE YOUR HOUSE...is just too NEAR to call it a "camp"! SOMEMORE during the evening my mom can actually come home to take a bathe before she go back to the camp! WTF!!!!! WHERE GOT CAMP CAN GO HOME SHOWER 1!!!!!

Anyway my bro was like very boring like that playing his "sango" game (actually I got bored seeing him play that game and I think he was getting more and more semangat claiming china lands using Zhu-Ge-Liang) so I asked him along if he want to watch movie with us. Oh ya, Bobby and I plaaned to watch "Wanted" that night and there's a session at 915 and 945. Honestly, I planned for the 915 session and yeah as I told u earlier...and by the time the plan actually kciked in it was already 9pm liao. Fuh. This would be really a challenge. Go to USJ11 and to Summit and be punctual for a 915 movie! Somemore both Bobby and I nit to mandi 1st! Somemore Bobby asked along another friend CheeeKhaaangg to follow us so YES LA! Amazing Race Subang Jaya man!

So by the time we reached Bobby's house I think it was 915 liao. GENG CHAO. All the way I was teased and laughed by my fellow movie watchers. "WTF 915pm. You mean 915 reach there buy ticket izit?" Geez. Oh well, the last time me and YongJi achieved this unbelievable feat of reaching Summit at 5 minutes to watch Dragon Tiger Gate (the Nic Tse and Don Yan 1...the one where all 3 guys have the very gay gay uber yao yeng long hair 1) and we are freaking on time somemore. So I guess it was just a record very hard to repeat again.

Nvm. We reach there, walked up to the GF of the shopping mall and was suddenly all of us are overwhelmed by the people mountain people sea euphoria. I rub my eyes. Summit wo? SO MANY PPL 1? Since when so happening liao this place? Ok nvm. Focus on the mission of the night. We went up and there was like 10-12 people queue. Ok. Acceptable. Saturday night ma. Once again the trio looked and teased the organizer along with their "915 movie" look. Much to our horror, "Wanted" is SELLING FAST". Ok time for plan B, if the show cannot get how? "Eh I heard GetSmart is a very nice show wo!" Hmmm, a line of sweat dripped beside my ears. "Anyone watch d?" Look left look right and realized I'm the only one watched, I raise hand...then...kena diao by people with "SAY EARLIER LA".

So finally it was our turn. Checked the screen again. Ok the movie is still "SELLING FAST" phew. So we coolly asked for our "Wanted" ticket. I thought she wasn't listening or maybe coz I forgot to mention the quantity of tickets wanted so I told her we want 4 tickets.

Much to my horror.. she ...she....she....said...

"Sold out la."

What? Huh? Yes no uhm ah?

"OkOk...errr errrr" Bobby was questioning how ah how ah and I realized I have to sacrifice then I said..."Oh, then GetSmart lo"...since the rest of the movie is screening after 11pm (takkan want wait until then meh).

I was still in the middle of trying to accept why I so mulia sacrifice when she said.."Sold out also la." which plunged me further into a infinite disbelief state. We pointed at the screen. "There still 'SELLING FAST' woR?" The look in the ticket sellers face was like believe it or not. Realizing there's a long queue behind us already we had no choice but to withdraw where once again the organizer kena diao again. Ztupid. These people seems unable to understand the risk and excitement of last minute movie trips and keep complaining. Ungrateful brats. Nvm. So what are we going to do now?

We sent my brother home and went to AsiaCafe and bought some dvds. LOL! It was then we were recommended to shows like "Pirates" ( With 5 girls as the cover pic. Yeah you should know what kind of show is that) and "Teeth" (kononnya some thriller that very creative, 'You cannot imagine 1'..though I kinda feel the thriller here meant a sensual kind of thrill instead of the gan jiong type of thrill)

It was then ZC called. Having ZC calling you and telling he is actually available for a meeting at this hour, at a weekend, and actually call to tell you about it...is a RECORD!!!!! For my life! This is the 1st time!!!!!!! Since we did not get our desired movie trip, and cheeeKang say he's ok...we head off to Sunway to see that "rare item". Hmmm...not really a advisable thing to do when petrol price is now RM2.70. So ZC is in the house! Or rather...in the car! Now what?

After some trash talk and some verbal abuse flying between ZC and BC...yes...the meetings of 2 of the Choong's promises a war of vocabs that will blew you out of your mind....we are stil undecided what to do. Then, suddenly, I forgot what started it, the topic suddenly turned to Yunn, one of our ex classmates. It all started during the last meeting we had back in January when dear EeCh asked us for a steamboat session and Bobby started teasing ZC about his seemingly "infatuation" with miss Yunn. Then, ZC say, " I call her 'Baby' 1 ok! Speaking of which quite miss her now, lets go find her lo." Then came a dare from us which is something like "ok we go there then you must call her baby and give her a hug" etc. And the never-ending night continues with the journey to Bandar Kinrara....

Poor Cheeekkaanggg...got drag into this....but nvm la...our miss Yunn...also....ok la...above average ma...right gals? Just wondering with the chinese language barrier and the drowsiness of travelling and the fact that it is very hard to look clearly at night....Ok la...miss Yunn should be quite...attractive lo! Can la...if cheekkkaanggg is not entertained...it's ZC's fault not Yunn's! =P

So we passed the Puchong toll and the guy who stays in Puchong who calls our miss Yunn "Baby" looks like he is lost in Puchong. "Eh what's her place's name la? BK(Bandar Kinrara) 4?" "I duno woh? I use feel to go to my 'baby's house 1". I swore I wanted to drop him in the middle of the highway that time.

So after leading us the opposite direction to his 'baby's house, we called her and she told us that her place was indeed BK4 whcih is actually a street behind my ex housemate Hoong's place which I can still recall going there. (If I not mistaken..yc's place also in BK4 rite?) The landmark she gave was...an area opposite an A&W. But as I recall, there's no fastfood outlet ma, except for that Petronas station. It turns out that there's indeed an A&W but it's in the Petronas. WOw! Good landmark wor! Instead of telling us the Petronas Station she told us to look out for the A&W instead!

And we are finally there! So the fella as predicted chicken-ed out and din gave the hug, and once again we are at the "now what" stage. After 15 minutes of nonstop driving in the middle of nowhere at the Puchong highways that we decided to go to Putri to have a drink. After twist and turn in Puchong...

We ended up in StationOne.

It was one of the memorable nights to remember as Bobby, Cheeekaanggg and I were 1st traumatized by Summit and then explored Puchong, with rare items ZC and Yunn "leading" us the way. Once aglain, poor CheeKanngg...suddenly go on a roadtrip with the s1 people.

Summit had always been the record "mei you mai bu dao de piao de di fang" ( the place where no tickets could not be purchased). Now, it became a history that Summit used to have that particular record. And look at the carnage it have done to us!

p.s. Euro 2004 is another example that shows that past record will never affect what'll happen today. Spain won! I could felt Hoey bragging now....hmmm....that is, if she knows Spain won LOL!
trip

It was Fri morning. They called. For the 1st time in my life, I got it. I was relieved yet estatic. Yet the future for getting it looks saddening. I do not know. Big portion of my heart want to remain in KL but still to get the job in Penang is a very great opportunity. While pondering another option, this friend called.

This fren known as " 1+ " ( mandarin) called and said, "Hey, tomorrow you know right? We are going to Malacca." Blur. The natural reply was "Oh, tomorrow you all are going to Malacca." Amusingly, the other side said, "No ah, you also come with us la." While I was wtf-ing, 1+ talked about how an international tournament that is supposed to be held in Malacca will be combining with another tournament held in Malacca and become only one tournament so if we go to this tournament we could actually win both honours if we joined the tournament.

Wait wait wait, did he just say "if we go there, we win two honours" ?

Wah lao, tournament oso belum confirm join already talk about wining the tournament.

Ridiculously, after a long night at One Utama, watching an IQ-dropping yet entertaining movie featuring TheRock in "GetSmart", got stopped over at a police roadblock (must be thanks to Peh who is damn toh suey), a talkative session at Kayu, I arrived home at home on 3am just to find myself getting ready to go to Malacca at 6am in an blink of an eye. My uncle was staring at me in disbelief when he saw the time and myself walking out the room. Ironically, I found out that my mom was actually already awake that time and she was studying for her exam. WtH, a Maths teacher nearing retirement studying for an exam. Suddenly I feel like I'm the old one here.

After fetching Steven's brother Wern from Cyberjaya, the six of us set off to Malacca. Felt I have grown younger a few years while in the car. Ma derr. I am actually 3 or 4 yrs older than all of them. Quite weird actually. Yet they are very chatty and indeed very good in bullshitting : totally my type of people to be with. To go to a tournament held in Malacca, all we need is to call up all the team members a day before, and wah la we are all zooming to the historical city: without training while nonstop yapping about how we are going to use the prize money along the way.

1+ described our trip as if ChunYeong(who was driving) is like our father. Remember how your essays about a trip in your primary school days would sound like? Amazingly all of us could actually compose different parts of the epilogue of the essay and each of our versions are compatible with each other. See! This is how the education system in our nation has done to us. Brainwashing every kid no matter which state and any age to write the nearly stereotypic style of esssay writing: using the same terms and same familiar introduction.

So it sounded like this,

"One day, my father suddenly have an urge(yes, in chinese essay, here, "xin xue lai cao", the famous "cheng yu" would confirmed be used. A usage of "cheng yu" is like using peribahasa in BM : it makes the passage looks impressive ^_^) to bring us whole family to go to a trip. Thus, all of us happily ( ahh, "xing gao cai lie" ) went on this journey.

Along the way ( "yi lu shang"), the morning's weather is clear and the wind is calm ( yesssssss...remember this? "FENG HE RI LI"). All of us in the car are chatting happily. ( "tan tian suo di" , "you suo you xiao") ..."

and the essay will go on.....

If you dunno what I mean, just go to a small kid's exercise book, open their chinese essay, compare it with the above. You'll be amazed really. The style, the terms, the message conveyed will be identical.

So all of us reached Malacca at 9am, ate dim sum and went to the cafe just to found out that there are many strong teams participating in this tournament. The best thing was, the organizer did not reach until 10.30am which is 1 hour later than the time they asked us to gather, and the registration did not complete until 11.30am.

When the brackets are out, we anxiously went and check out who are our opponents. Just to realize,

"Eh, our team name not here de?"

Six pairs of eyes read the match schedule. Yea wor. WHere's our team's name? We went and asked the marshall and found out.

ZHAAAAAAAA DOUUUUUUUUUUUUU Team who registered din show up. WALKOVER 1st round.

"Please come back again at about 2.30pm" . Wtf. 11am to 2.30pm is like...eternity woi.. Still we have nothing to complain, so we went to the used to be Kotamas. After turning and turning and turning, we parked our car and entered the cinema. In front of the cinema was 4 benches and 1+ straightaway suggested that we take up the 4 benches and sleep until 2.30pm lo. Nah, our father ChunYeong have a better idea : We here liao ma, watch movie lo. Think think, ok ma, those who tired, sleep in cinema only la. So, out of the list of movies, we made our choice and stepped into the theatre.

From the Zong's book of record, introducing
=================>>>>> "The Happening"
<<<<<<===========

It was probably the worst choice of our life. Usually a suck movie can make you just fall asleep.

This movie has all the superb sucky elements that after you watch it, YOU CAN'T SLEEP. YESSSSSSSS IT IS THAT SUCK!

"The Happening" also entered a new record into Zong's book of record : The 1st movie that make Zong stepped out of the cinema withuot finish watching the movie.

Once out of the cinema, all six of us let out a breather. It seems like sleeping at the bench outside the cinema is a better idea after all.

After eating lunch at McD, we headed back to the cafe and found out that our oppoenents for the next game is still playing their game.

Errr..Okay...so we watched and analysed how our opponent will play.

Awesomeness never ceased to wonder in this tournament. After 10 minutes, we suddenly hear a tick sound from the power box and the whole cafe black out. FuhYo, for such a prestigous tournament, this is superb shit man! All the ongoing matches could be reloaded actually, but , the problem is, the usual internet cafe computers will not store any of its data after it is restarted, means....

all the matches that were ongoing have to be restarted, and replayed...

means.....

"Please come back around 6.30pm lo. If your game can start earlier, we will call you ok?"

WAH LAO EH.

Six of us are like a guy only in his underpants stranded in the middle of a wedding. Where can we go woi? We come here for a tournament and cannot even touch the mouse and keyboard a.

Luckily my fren's have frens that are in Malacca.I can't help but feeling old and sad .Baru a month back, I could've have a list of friends I could call upon if there's situation like this, places and houses to crash in if I'm in Malacca. Now, who can I call? Sigh. The emptiness of facing graduation.

So we finally had our 1st major team talk at 5pm. YES. The game at 6.30pm and now only we start discussing what each player is going to do. When we left the house, I think its mutual understanding that the major team talk is as if it never occured as we went into the cafe, just to have the organisers telling us that our game is postponed to the last match of the day which will be 8pm.

One game only. Postponed so many times. Amazing. But in Malacca liao wo, takkan dun wait? So we went to MMU Corner. Nostalgic place. Expanded to more shoplots and more stalls. Wanted to eat the duck mee but apparently she stopped selling. The fried kuey teow robocop hawker is still there but he doesnt seem to recognize me. Crap. Plus, there are several pleasant looking uh-hmm at MMU corner. Shit. I can hear the cursing of my batch of male engineering students echoeing from all over Cyberjaya.

After dinner, we returned and waited, and waited until finally its our turn and this would be the time you appreciate your pc you have at home and the ones provided in the Project labs in MMU. Really spoiled the mood.

We finally had our game at 9pm.

And lost.

We head home to KL, discussing vividly how we lost the game and then horror struck Wern. And later horror struck all six of us when the road sign "Selamat datang to Sempadan Johor" was passed. Haha. Terus make a u-turn at Segamat and head back the correct direction.

Later, we sort of missed a turning into KESAS highway. Thus we turned a turning into Bangi/Dengkil and we had the horror of our lives when we drove on "jalan yang berliku-liku tanpa lampu jalanan" without knowing where we will be ending up at. Fortunately after trusting the road sign again and again, we finally reached Dengkil and later Cyberjaya.

Now to reward myself, Holland vs Russia!
