well...I know, it's been awhile.  Theres not much to say this time other than:

1.  I didn't get the internship and

2. we put Licorice down this afternoon.

I really hate it here.

I've offically completely given up on the Conservation Education Internship.  I just got a response from one of my e-mails and the woman working for animal programs said that everyone would no for sure by friday.

If I still was under consideration, I would've heard by now as they are probably saving a few days to call others in case their first choices turn down.  The worse part is, I know why they probably passed over me...it all goes back to that one stupid question...I wish just one thing would go right for a change.

hmmm...not much going on here.  I spent all day Sunday writing what could be put down in history as the absolute worst biology research paper ever!!!  Well, at least I have a few weeks to rewrite.

I'm about to give up on hearing any positive news for the internships I was hoping for.  If anyone hears of any good jobs in Orlando, let me know.  I desperately need a job within the next few months!

I applied last night for a full time position at WDW.  I've been getting worried about this internship thing, so I decided to take an extra precaution and apply for something else.  The only problem is that now I think I want this more than the internship.  It's full-time (only not salaried), but I think I would be eligible for benefits, which would be awesome.  It doesn't say for sure, but I think it's for a Core Team position...these were the people that oversaw the presenter team, so it would be an easy role to transition into.  The only problem is that I won't even find out if I'm eligibe to interview for at least three to six weeks.  And, I think I woud have to fly down to interview, I don't think they'll accept one over the phone.  But, I really want it.  To increase my chances,  I said I'd be eligible to work starting Monday, May 8. (the monday after graduation).  What a long weekend that would be!  I wonder if they'll let me accept an internship and still be considered for the job.  I let Teresa know and she's going to do some snooping around for me.   It would be great if a certain person was quitting and I was taking her place!  Ohhh...I'm so excited that I've barely worried about the internship all day.

It's Disney Day!!!  We had our first presentation this morning.  School had a late start (10am) and we had a whole 2 students at the presentation.   hehe...I know it sucks, but I find it to be highly amusing...this guy was super critical of everything Michelle, our recruiter said and left before signing up for an interview, the other, this really sweet girl with perfect Mickey height wanted to go into Entertainment...so our numbers are still technically zero.  Our goal is 25...hmm...that's not gonna happen.  Oh well, I always enjoy our presentation days.  We just got back from lunch at Jason's Deli.  That place is AMAZING.  Oh, it must've been the best salad bar I've ever had.  Well...now we've got about an hour and a half till the next one.
