Prophetic

Wow!! God has been really moving in my life lately. Last week I went to a Pastor's conference in Daphne, AL--it was phenomenal. God spoke to me so much about so much--mainly our student ministry and their lives--and I had several people confirm what God has been speaking to me about our youth ministry.

I'm so excited about what God is doing in our students. It's incredible to see those that are growing go after God. This past Wednesday a group of about 10-15 people continued to pray and stay around the altar until 11pm--they were praying for about 3.5hrs. Wow! Let me tell ya--God really moved in their lives!

I came across this prophecy by Kim Clement & I want to share it b/c this is what God has been speaking to me. I believe that by the end of this year our students will be in the beginning of a genuine revival where heaven will open above our community.

"America, America, I who raised you up shall not forget [you] as you forgot Me," says the Lord. "For I will take you back to Deuteronomy, chapter 8, verse 7 and on." God says, "I have planned great things. And your enemies embarked upon a journey to take the smile off your face, but My people arose. They could not remove me from the hearts of the school children. Though they took me from the schools, they did not take me from the hearts of the children. A very special thing shall take place in this Nation: in Georgia, in Illinois, yes, and in Florida and in California, a group of youth shall arise and change the laws of this Nation," says the Lord.

Prophesied by Kim Clement in December 2005.

And God says, "I will now multiply the anointing on the ages from 8 to 17. They shall suddenly arise." Did you hear what the Spirit of God says? He will anoint between the ages of 8 and 17 in an unusual fashion this year. Look at your children, look at your grandchildren, look at your great-grandchildren. For God said, "I will raise them up, and they shall become the voices to this Nation," says the Lord.

God says that your shout is penetrating the atmosphere. Your shout is penetrating poverty. Your shout is penetrating sickness. Your shout is penetrating discord. Your shout is penetrating witchcraft. Your shout is penetrating darkness. Your shout is breaking the powers that have held you back!

Your shout is penetrating the mountain that has stood before you. In 2006, I will multiply; there will be no more delays. What you have waited for shall be granted before the summer of 2006. Your shout is breaking through the fire, breaking the limitations! Your shout is destroying the accuser of the brethren, breaking the power of the accuser of the brethren.

Today

This year is off and running and flying by. So our 40 Day Fast was incredible...however, the enemy has started attacking our students and leaders now. It's one of those things that tends to happen following a fast. So right now we're in spiritual warfare more so than before. But that's okay--we will grow and the enemy won't win.

Things have been rather busy lately, but that's alright. I took Tuesday off for my birthday That was nice. I'm also off today...but I probably go in and work some and then help Brad move. My best friend bought a new house---God provided that right in the middle of our fasting and he closed the day our fast ended. That was an answer to prayer!!

Right now I'm considering going to a pastor's conference in March in AL. Not sure if I'm going to go there or not. I'm just praying about it and waiting for God's direction. There's another place I'd like to go--so who knows. It will work out.

So right now I'm at my church office getting ready to get some work done...which I know is a shocker for those who know me that I would be at the church office.

It's exciting to be in the middle of what God is doing and looking to the future of what He's promised to do. Don't ever lose your hold of Jesus.

Last Night

Last night was another incredible mid-week youth service. We had an incredible time together. The worship band did an incredible job leading in worship--as they always do!! The altar time was extremely awesome! And of course the closing of the service with everyone at the altar declaring their freedom of their past and sin--WOW!! I just can't get that song out of my head.

I'm very excited about where we're headed this year. We have an incredible group of students!! You guys are awesome!!!!!!!!

Take time to Selah

The more I grow in my relationship with God, the more I understand why David used this word so many times in the Psalms. Today I've had one of those days where I'm just in awe of God. There are times in my life where I think I've figured God out in one particular area and then he draws me a little closer and I realize there's so much more to God. It's incredible!

Today God was reminding me of where he had brought me from and things I had to go through to get where I'm at today. Things that at the time I was yelling at God about, yet today I understand why He brought me the way he did.

God has brought you through the things you have gone through to shape you and make you into a person that he can use to bless and affect other people.

Today as I was pondering all the things God has done and is doing in my life--it made me just think of Selah--a word which means to pause and to think about what has just taken place or what has been spoken--a time of reflection. Today as God spoke to me it made me "Selah."

Take time today to reflect on God's goodness to you.

I'm Evaporating

Today at work my nice co-worker from Armenia decided to inform me that I'm melting away to nothing because of this fasting. However, I feel great. I have to say, though, I've probably lost 20 pounds, I'm sure. I haven't weighed because my intention in fasting has not been for health reasons but for spiritual.

God has been blessing all of us already and we're not even half way through the fast. Breakthroughs are already taking place...healings, provision, guidance, spiritual growth, deeper intimacy with God--and on and on.

Well...tonight is our combined youth service. I'm expecting to see God move--not to mention it's nice b/c I'm not preaching tonight. That's a blessing too. Dont' get me wrong--I love preaching and I love speaking into the lives of students, but it's always nice to be able to hear someone else speak on occassion.

What has God spoken to you to do today? What area has God been challenging you to grow in? Are you following through on this? Maybe you're reading this and saying God hasn't challenged me to grow in any particular area--REALLY? I know he wants to.

God loves you so much he'll take you the way you are, but He loves you so much that He refuses to leave you that way!
