| The ground thaws, the rain falls, the grass grows. The seeds root, the flowers bloom, the children play. The stars gleam, the poets dream, the eagles fly... the earth turns, the sun burns, but I die... The breeze warms, the girl smiles, the cloud moves... The tides change, the boys run, the oceans crash. The crowds roar, the days soar, the babies cry... The moon glows, the river flows, but I die... The world revives. Colors renew. But I know blue, only blue... within me blue... The hand gropes, the ear hears, the pulse beats. The eyes gaze, the legs walk, the lungs breath. The mind churns! The heart yearns. The tears dry... Life goes on, but I'm gone. Cause I die...without you. | | |
| Last couple weeks have been crazy. Scholarship stuff, tests, wellness fair, review sessions, guests, parties. I wish it was all more fun though. My grades are finally comin' back up. I just realized I'm actually not doing badly in Biology, I just thought I was. My english teacher loves me for some reason. Golden. She wrote me a sweet lil letter of recomendation and sort of offered me a job. Haha. I love 'er. As far as health class goes I think I'm gonna have to start doing this thing where I go to class each day it is held. Sounds crazy, but I hear it helps... :/ I love how much I love philosophy. It's the only area where I'm driven. I've been dying to go home lately but I sacrified the weekend at home so I could go to my philosophy review session. Luckily Pete came here with Zak and Dan Friday, drove them home that night and then drove right back here to sleepova. Good choice I'd say. I don't want to jinx it but I think I may have owned my philosophy midterm today. I was all over that. I love philosophy. I also love Chicago. I terribly miss it and all it entails. But I'm too busy to go home these days. This weekend Mac was going to have a party for Justin's birthday but it got postponed HOWEVER, hopefully everyone will still come and we can have our OWN party and great amounts of joy, hilarity, and dance shall ensue. And I'll see KIRSTEN. And my lil sis might come! How exciting! So there's that and then the weekend after that I will be homeward bound for that thang they call Easter. Sounds good to me. I just have to work on the 612 projects I have due at the end of the month before I leave. I think I should go work out tomorrow...yes.
p.s. I think my mom sent me money SO THAT I'll go to church with my family for easter. Mac thinks so too. Not a bad deal. I got a dub.
I miss high school, Chicago, Kirsten, the guys, Petey, galavanting, sleepovers, craziness, inexplainably weird situations, Clark street, shows, awesome weather, fun fun fun.
Just some recent pic-a-roos
